DSG is the Adelaide DJ alias of Jake Forster, bringing a dark, hard-hitting approach to hard techno and underground rave music. His sets are built around pounding kicks, heavy percussion, driving rhythms and hypnotic grooves, with the energy increasing as the room gets later and heavier. DSG is especially drawn to closing sets, using the extra space at the end of the night to push into more aggressive peaks while keeping the flow controlled and immersive. He made his public debut at Underground Sound: 001 in September 2026, joining Ack, Lvnce, Jx.Zero and Toze for the collective’s first warehouse party on Andrew Street. Beyond DJing, Forster is also one of the people behind Underground Sound, the Adelaide collective created to give emerging artists a platform through local lineups and distinctive venues. His style suits packed rooms, warehouses and after-hours floors where dark, relentless techno can build without needing to ease off.
