Audio Distraction

Audio Distraction is an Adelaide-based DJ and party project built around feel-good dance music, with sets moving through jazz house, nu-disco, classic house and familiar cuts from the ’70s, ’80s and ’90s. The project has become active around Adelaide’s southern suburbs, appearing at venues including Taste Revolution in Port Noarlunga South, Port Noarlunga Christies RSL and Kick Back Brewing in Aldinga. In 2025 Audio Distraction hosted themed nights such as a dedicated ’90s session and Dress to Disturb Halloween party, while 2026 brought Winter Sessions in partnership with The Vinyl Collective and a spring Jazz House/Nu-Disco session at Kick Back Brewing. Rather than focusing on one club genre, Audio Distraction works across nostalgic dancefloor music and contemporary house, shaping relaxed bar and community nights around familiar records, groove and a broad age mix. The project continues to build a local following through standalone sessions and collaborations.
