Reelax aka Ryan Wilson

Reelax is the DJ and production identity of Adelaide-born electronic music specialist Ryan Wilson. A three-time South Australian DJ of the Year, Wilson built his reputation through Adelaide clubs, national festivals and appearances spanning Miami, Dubai, Ibiza and Denmark. His Australian credits include Stereosonic, Future Music, Summadayze, Parklife and We Love Sounds, plus work as host of Stereosonic TV. From 2005 to 2011 he served as Music Director at Fresh 92.7 and produced and hosted Release, described as Australia’s longest-running electronic dance music radio program. His catalogue includes remixes for The Killgirls, Those Usual Suspects and A.N.D.Y.’s “Chemicals” featuring Vanya Taylor, released through Sony Belgium and Epic Amsterdam. Beyond performing, Wilson moved into label and A&R work, becoming Director of Electronic Music at Sony Music Australia in 2015. Reelax remains connected to Adelaide, returning for heritage events including Cargo Anthems and The Planet Reunion.
