Flash aka Michael Gray

Flash, the performance name of Michael Gray, is an Adelaide-born DJ and producer now based on Queensland’s Gold Coast. Working across house, tech house and big-room sounds, he has appeared at major Australian events including Future Music Festival and Summafieldaze. He was ranked No. 38 in the 2013 inthemix Awards and spent nine years as a resident at Platinum Nightclub, sharing booths and stages with Hardwell, Nicky Romero, Carl Cox and Dirty South. His catalogue includes “Shake It,” “WTF,” “Monster,” “Up to No Good,” “The Realm” and “Hypnotised.” “Shake It” reached the ARIA Club Chart top ten and entered Beatport’s top 100, while “Hypnotised” reached No. 1 on the ARIA Club Chart. Signed to Vicious Recordings, Flash has also worked in artist liaison, label coordination and music marketing. He remains active behind the decks and in the studio, releasing new music and playing throughout Queensland and interstate while maintaining strong ties to the Australian club scene.
