Fabric Adelaide
125 Hindley St, Adelaide
Fabric occupies 125 Hindley Street and runs as a straightforward big room club: multiple areas playing different sounds, a sizeable rooftop bar, and a sound and lighting rig built for volume. Doors open at nine on Friday and Saturday and stay open until six in the morning, which makes it one of the later finishes anywhere on the strip.
The programming leans mainstream rather than underground, with a rotating cast of local and touring DJs, themed nights across the calendar, and a rooftop silent disco that has become one of its better known quirks.
The recurring booking on record here is Bed By 10, a thirties plus daytime clubbing series built on eighties, nineties and early noughties classics, complete with confetti and CO2 cannons. It starts mid afternoon and wraps by nine, which is the whole joke: a full club night with the production intact, finished early enough that tomorrow survives.
