Sun & Sounds Festival

Sun & Sounds Festival is a boutique spring music event held on the lawns of 23rd Street Distillery in Renmark, South Australia. Launched in 2024 and produced by Riverland events company Sarez, it combines live bands and DJs with local food, award-winning spirits and cocktails in a relaxed outdoor setting. Its program moves between party favourites, dance music and Adelaide acts, carrying the day from afternoon lawn sessions into an evening dancefloor. Previous editions have featured Adelaide band Day Drive, Home Grown—the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s party set from Sarez and Nages—and Riverland DJs. Capacity is capped at about 300 people, keeping the gathering intimate; both the 2024 and 2025 editions sold out. Sun & Sounds returns each October and forms part of Sarez’s regional festival portfolio alongside Sounds in the Quarry, Riverland Food & Wine Festival and Winter Wine Down. The event gives Renmark a spring celebration centred on music, regional hospitality and the distillery lawns.
