DubPub

DubPub is an Adelaide bass-music promoter established in 2026 to rebuild a local space for riddim and dubstep. Its January launch, staged with Chop Shop at Low Life Basement Bar, was billed as a revival of Adelaide’s “riddim underground” and placed South Australian artists in focus. The opening lineup brought together Yoked, REE-SEARCH, Aus, Hale, Gunda G, SA Water Bois and YungSvn, setting out a policy based on heavy low end, sharp drops and local support. DubPub has since moved from an all-Adelaide showcase toward international bookings while retaining local selectors. In October 2026 the promoter presents French artist Roi* and US producer Yunit at Electric Circus, backed by Aus, Hale, YungSvn and REE-SEARCH. This progression reflects DubPub’s role as both an entry point for homegrown bass talent and a link to the wider riddim circuit. Across its events, the focus remains on late-night club settings, loud systems and the harder edges of dubstep, riddim and underground bass music.
