Club Clippers

Club Clippers is a regional nightclub and event presenter upstairs at the Portside Tavern, 96 Ellen Street, Port Pirie. A familiar name in the city’s nightlife through the 2010s, Clippers has returned with DJ parties, guests and themed events. The room gives Port Pirie a dedicated club setting without the trip to Adelaide, while bringing metropolitan DJs, sound and lighting north for nights. Programming is broad and crowd-focused, moving between commercial dance, house, EDM, party favourites and retro music from the 1970s through the 1990s. Relaunch events have featured INSTNKT, Eric Stephens and Digz, while its MM-listed Retro Night paired long-serving Adelaide selectors Justice and Adrian Zac with best-dressed prizes and throwback sets. Clippers has also operated underage events, widening its role in the regional entertainment circuit. Connected to the Portside Tavern downstairs, Club Clippers functions as both an upstairs nightclub and the promotional banner for its club nights.
