MFG aka Mika Goldberg

MFG, short for Mika Fucking Goldberg, is an Adelaide producer and live electronic artist working at the collision point of electro, industrial rock, hyperpop and downtempo club music. Her productions pair abrasive digital textures and heavy electronic rhythm with pop-minded hooks, vocals and a taste for theatrical excess. The Glory Box EP brought that approach into sharper focus, with tracks including With My Dog combining industrial and hyperpop elements with character-driven songwriting. MFG’s catalogue also includes Ligero, Keep/Take, Do I, You, French, The Beer and Lace, alongside live recordings that show the project extending beyond studio production. Her first live MFG appearance came through H34VEN0N34RTH’s experimental RIPT series at Ancient World, placing her within Adelaide’s younger experimental electronic community. MFG describes the project through tragedy, opulence, noise and imagery rather than allegiance to a single club genre.
