Retrace

Retrace is an Adelaide DJ and producer who calls himself a bass music genre breaker, with sets that move across the heavier end of the bass spectrum rather than settling into a single lane. He made his mark as a stage runner-up at YourShot ADL 2026, and the recording of that set went up on SoundCloud. In August 2026 he followed it with The Nuclear Option, a heavier set recorded at The Manager's Office with a tracklist running through KILLMATTER, Funhouse and Skrillex. The following month he joined the Missing? Alleyway Season lineup in Nevermind's Leigh Street laneway, and fourfourfour booked him for its Halloween edition at Ancient World, a night where bass house, bassline, dubstep and jersey club share the floor.
