LXRP
LXRP are a three-piece post-punk and dance-punk band from Naarm/Melbourne, formed by Mish Furner on vocals and lyrics, Amy Rogers on bass, and Heather Jardany on guitar and drum-machine programming. Describing their sound as chorus-pedal, drum-machine post-punk and post-pop, the group pair electronic rhythms with bass-led momentum, textured guitar and direct vocal writing. Their first single, “Artifacting”, arrived in May 2025 with a video filmed and edited by Jardany. “Maintenance” followed in February 2026, recorded DIY in one day and mixed by Allison Walker. Both tracks appear on LXRP’s seven-song self-titled debut album, released in May 2026 through Trans-Brunswick Express and issued digitally and on vinyl. LXRP’s Adelaide appearance at Ancient World sees the trio supporting Simona Castricum’s Villain album show alongside local electronic artist Jason Sweeney, bringing their meeting of post-punk, pop and programmed rhythm to Tarndanya.
