Ali B aka Ali Badiei

Ali B is the performing name of Adelaide DJ and event operator Ali Badiei, who has worked behind the decks for more than 20 years. Associated with Black Cherry Events, his career covers nightclubs, hotels, weddings, corporate functions and celebrations. Ali’s open-format approach is built for broad crowds, moving through party classics, commercial dance, pop, R&B and Y2K favourites while adjusting the pace to suit each room. Adelaide bookings have included The Highway and Palais Hotel, ranging from late-night party sets to Adelaide Cup afterparties and classics sessions. His work extends beyond nightlife through winery, food and regional events, including the Fleurieu Food Festival.
