Plant 4 Bowden is a market, hospitality and entertainment venue housed in the former Clipsal industrial complex at 5 Third Street, just west of Adelaide’s CBD. Its restored warehouse setting combines eateries, bars, retail and alfresco areas with flexible indoor spaces used for markets, weddings, performances and dance nights. Music has become a regular part of its programme, ranging from live bands and Adelaide Fringe shows to themed DJ parties, musical bingo and recurring retro nights with Tommy Tequila. The venue’s ground floor and mezzanine allow different configurations for intimate gatherings through to larger standing shows, while food traders and the Plant 4 Bar remain part of many evening programmes. Plant 4 also hosts the Bowden Fringe, presenting music, cabaret, comedy and other performance during Adelaide Fringe.
