The Vanishing Point is Three D Radio’s long-running home for experimental and unconventional music, hosted by Samuel. Its definition of “experimental” is deliberately broad, moving through ambient, industrial, noise, musique concrète, electronics, EBM, power electronics, spoken word and sounds that sit well outside familiar genre boundaries. Originally known as Osmosis, the program reaches back to the early years of Three D Radio and has passed through several presenters while maintaining its commitment to difficult, unusual and exploratory music. Over the years it has featured rare recordings, live material, interviews and extended programs alongside selections from experimental artists both local and international. Rather than following trends or a fixed format, The Vanishing Point remains a space for music that challenges expectations, connecting decades of experimental sound with whatever is happening at its edges now.
