Evolution is a Fresh 92.7 radio show hosted by Adelaide MC and broadcaster Daniel “DT” Tedge, better known as Rudeboy. Drawing on decades spent within Adelaide’s rave and dance culture, the program connects the music of earlier dancefloors with the sounds and people carrying that culture forward. Classic rave, house, trance and harder dance music sit alongside guest mixes, personal selections and stories from DJs, MCs and other figures who helped shape Adelaide nightlife. Rather than treating the past as a museum piece, Evolution gives those records context: where they were played, who played them and why they still matter. With Rudeboy’s first-hand perspective behind the microphone, Evolution works as both a dance music show and an ongoing oral history of Adelaide club and rave culture.
