Ubuntu Events

Ubuntu Events is an Adelaide promoter with roots in Ubuntu4one, a community initiative established in 2017 around the African philosophy of Ubuntu — “I am because we are.” Its parties bring African and diaspora culture together through music, dance and community, with a strong focus on amapiano, Afro house, Afro tech, Afrobeats, gqom and R&B. Over the years Ubuntu Events has staged club nights, cultural celebrations and touring artist shows across Adelaide, including ZimPride events, Afro-Winter Experience, Africa Calling and the Masquerade Afro Experience. The promoter has also brought international African artists to local stages, while working with Adelaide venues including Cosmos Club, Atlantis Lounge Bar and TIA Live. More than simply a club-night brand, Ubuntu Events centres its events on connection, shared culture and the idea of bringing people together through music.
