Park Bench

Park Bench is a free, community-based Adelaide event project bringing people together through music, art and a counterculture spirit. Built around accessible, grassroots parties rather than a conventional club model, the crew describes its events as spaces where people can dance, talk and simply be part of the community. Its approach is deliberately DIY. Money raised by Park Bench goes back into the events, helping fund decorations, stages, lighting, equipment and possible future venues, with the organisers relying on community support to keep improving each party. In September 2026, Park Bench staged an underground rave at Bonython Park featuring Narko, JT, Conroy, Ewan Plays Music, Stxrry, Robes, Steej, Coopz and Last One Standing. The project’s public home is Instagram at @parkbenchadl, where new parties and updates are announced. Park Bench sits firmly in Adelaide’s independent electronic music culture: free, local, community-minded and built from the ground up.
