UTS is an Adelaide drum & bass DJ, producer and radio host with a long connection to the city’s DnB community. Previously releasing as Uttersounds, his production catalogue moves through deep, technical and darker drum & bass, with excursions into halftime and more experimental territory. His releases have appeared through labels including IN:DEEP Music, Boey Audio, Santoku Records and Predators Lab, with tracks such as “Viper”, “Divided” and the Arcane and Concrete Warfare EPs showing a sound built around weight, detail and strong low-end production. Radio has also been a major part of the project. UTS has been involved with Fresh 92.7’s The Ones & Twos for years and now co-hosts the long-running show alongside Amorositie, bringing the same broad approach to DnB into the studio through new music, older selections and guest mixes.
