Southbeat, aka Matias Mardones, is a Chilean DJ and producer now active in Adelaide, with a musical background stretching from techno and electronic production into Latin and open-format club music. Behind the decks he moves comfortably between driving techno, hypnotic grooves, reggaetón, Latin rhythms, R&B and party-focused selections, adapting the sound to the room without losing his own rhythmic approach.
