Roost is an Adelaide drum & bass DJ and producer with roots stretching back to the city’s late-2000s bass scene. His history includes both DJing and original production, with tracks such as “Back And Forth” and “Drifter”, plus a remix of Lynx & Kemo’s “The Raw Truth”, appearing in early South Australian drum & bass showcases. Behind the decks, Roost works across the broader DnB spectrum, drawing on years of involvement in Adelaide radio, clubs and local bass culture. His sets favour rolling rhythms, deep low-end and the kind of selection that comes from a long relationship with the genre rather than a single sub-style. Roost is also part of Resonation on Fresh 92.7, returning to a name and radio lineage that reaches back to 2007. Alongside Tinkerb9L and the wider Resonation crew, he continues to connect Adelaide’s earlier drum & bass history with the music and selectors carrying it forward.
