Jason Lee

Jason Lee has been DJing for over thirty years and collecting vinyl for about as long. Jazz, funk, soul, disco, hip hop and house are the genres he keeps coming back to, and the crates run from late seventies and early eighties rarities through to current house. Radio is where most of the work lands. He presents on Adelaide Dance Radio and WOW FM 100.5, and the mixes stack up week after week: soulful house, funky vocal house, deep and disco vibes, nu disco and edits, jazz funk soul and disco records, and house pulled from right across the decades. Ten years of internet radio streaming sit behind that, alongside a stint in community radio. Behind the decks he works the daylight end of things. Souled Out Sundays returned to the Walkers Arms beer garden in Walkerville in February, an afternoon into evening session of classic soul, funk, house and disco shared with fellow selector Dave Collins.
