Jason Lee

Jason Lee has been DJing for more than thirty years, building a vinyl collection just as deep along the way. Jazz, funk, soul, disco, hip hop and house sit at the heart of his sound, though decades of digging have taken his shelves far beyond any fixed genre. A familiar name across Adelaide nightlife, Jason has held long-term residencies at the Worldsend Hotel, Crown and Sceptre Hotel, Zhivago, Hotel Wright Street and Garage Bar. Since 2013, he has also been one half of Souled Out Sundays alongside fellow selector Dave Collins, playing classic and underground jazz, funk, soul, disco and house around Adelaide. Jason also presents Diggin’ Deep in the Crates on Adelaide Dance Radio, with weekly mixes moving through jazz, funk, soul, disco, house and plenty in between. He continues to play guest spots, special events and private functions, with the record collection and the digging still very much at the centre of what he does.
