Fusiøn is an Adelaide hard-techno DJ and producer who has returned home after a period based in Victoria. Working at the fast, forceful end of club music, their sets draw from hard techno, hardgroove and hardstyle, built around rapid tempos, dense percussion, distorted low end and direct transitions. Time spent in Melbourne added interstate club experience to a project now again rooted in Adelaide’s harder-dance scene. Fusiøn also produces original material, edits and mashups, with SoundCloud releases including “Universe”, “Everything You Want!”, “Like This!”, a hard-techno flip of YROR’s “Act A Fool” and a collaboration with Blakjutsu. Back in Adelaide, Fusiøn is also connected with Rectify Collective and was booked for its Oasis night at Electric Circus before the show was cancelled. With both DJing and production moving in parallel, Fusiøn’s sound sits firmly around high-speed, hard-edged rave music.
