Ashie Grindle (Ashlee Grindle) is an Adelaide DJ whose open-format sets move through deep house, funk, disco, R&B, dancehall, pop and retro favourites. Working across clubs, festivals and sporting events, she adapts her selections to the setting while keeping familiarity and dance-floor response at the centre. Her solo bookings include Tasting Australia, the Sea to Shore Glenelg Seafood Festival, Gather Round events and hotel appearances. Grindle is also one half of Opposites Attract with Kai Ward, a duo introduced as Bangaz & Ash in 2023. Together they have appeared at NYE at the Bay, LIV Golf Adelaide, Tour Down Under, Oktoberfest, Sounds in the Quarry and the Adelaide Showdown, as well as on Sunrise and Fresh 92.7. Solo work gives Ashie room to cover everything from 1980s theme nights to food-and-wine events, while the duo leans into faster, genre-blending party sets. Across both formats, she brings adaptable programming, playful presentation and an understanding of the crowd.
