Annon is the DJ alias of Adelaide hard-dance artist and promoter David Wilkins. A committed UK hardcore and happy hardcore selector, he also reaches into freeform and other rave sounds when a track fits the moment. His recorded mixes date back to at least 2012, when his PLUR Day sessions combined bright melodies, fast breakbeats and classic happy-hardcore energy. Annon performs with vinyl and Serato Scratch DVS, broadcasting sets online and archiving them through SoundCloud, Mixcloud, HearThis and YouTube. Recent recordings include a 2022–2023 UK Hardcore mix drawing on Al Storm, Mike Reverie, Armin van Buuren and Dr Peacock. Beyond his own sets, Annon runs the Adelaide hardcore series CORE, helping provide a home for fast, colourful and multi-genre rave music. A regular on CORE lineups, he has appeared alongside local artists and interstate guests including Melbourne’s Boxxy, with sets known for euphoric melodies, rapid tempos and a playful streak of controlled chaos.
