Duck! Radio

duck! radio is a volunteer-run online broadcasting project based in Adelaide/Tandanya, built around adventurous music, community participation and independent voices. Launched in 2023 from a corner of Adelaide Bike Kitchen in Bowden, it quickly developed a broad schedule spanning electronic music, ambient, experimental sounds, indie, soul, funk, house, techno and plenty beyond easy genre labels. In 2026, after Adelaide Bike Kitchen was forced to leave its long-time home, duck! radio relocated to Oceanic Creative Studios in Thebarton. The station broadcasts live each Sunday from 8am to 10pm, either from its studio or through pop-up broadcasts at venues, community spaces and events around Adelaide. Presenters are given room to follow their own interests rather than a fixed playlist, with past shows archived on Mixcloud. Alongside regular programming, duck! radio supports local artists, DJs and community projects through collaborations, live broadcasts and public events.
