Kathryn Robertson is an Adelaide event promoter, dance-music advocate and co-founder of The Front Room, the promotions company she runs with her husband, DJ and promoter Heath Robertson. Launched in 2016, The Front Room grew from a music-first idea into an underground event brand, programming house, techno, progressive and trance while connecting Adelaide with local and international artists. Its bookings have included Amelie Lens, Pan-Pot, Alan Fitzpatrick, Sam Paganini, Infected Mushroom, Deborah De Luca, Yotto, Chicane and Reinier Zonneveld, alongside showcases with Carl Cox’s PURE events, Hardware Group and Alter Touring. Robertson’s contribution extends beyond event production and artist liaison: she has also documented Adelaide club culture as a writer for Eventalaide, reviewing trance and house events and celebrating the people behind them. Her work reflects a long-term commitment to thoughtful curation, quality production and the community that sustains Adelaide’s dance floors.
