Thomas 'Tom' Calvett

Thomas “Tom” Calvett is an Adelaide producer, composer, songwriter, vocalist, DJ, sound designer and educator, best known as one half of drum and bass duo V O E. He began releasing electronic music as Tevlo after years as a bedroom producer, working across drum and bass, metal, orchestral music, techno and pop. Earlier projects included metal groups Basstronauts and Fugue State, where he was lead singer. Calvett met Caroline Tucker through Fresh 92.7, and their collaboration, “Armour”, led to V O E’s formation in 2018. Within the duo he handles the production, composition and sound design while contributing vocals, piano and keytar. Their releases have appeared on Viper, Blackout, RAM, Liquicity and NCS, with performances at Rampage, Let It Roll and Liquicity. Outside V O E, Calvett composes for film and advertising, has Sony Music credits, creates charting Splice sample packs, built his own VST plug-in, and mentors production and Ableton Live students at Adelaide Audio Institute.
