MORGO aka Morgan

MORGO is the DJ name of Adelaide artist Morgan, an open-format DJ with a long-standing love of house music and a background that started well before the booth. Growing up around music, he sang and played drums and guitar with his dad before discovering house and EDM in high school through artists including Avicii, Marshmello and David Guetta. His first public DJ set came through Your Shot in 2024 at Atlantis Bar & Lounge. After the competition, Morgan stepped away to focus more seriously on developing himself as a DJ and building the MORGO name. While house has been his main obsession for more than five years, MORGO deliberately avoids being boxed into one sound. His taste reaches from rock and hip hop to dubstep, classic 1960s music and electronic music of all kinds. Current influences include John Summit, Mochakk, Mau P, KETTAMA, Dom Dolla and Fisher. He also produces music, although DJing and building the MORGO project remain his main focus.
