Charlie Shell aka Charlie Shelley Jones

Charlie Shell (aka Charlie Shelley Jones) is a Sydney-based DJ and producer whose sets and releases fuse UK garage, breaks, house and progressive tech. Trained in classical piano and alto saxophone, he self-released the album Carpe Diem in 2023, then spent nine months in Newcastle upon Tyne soaking up the UK underground and supporting BAKEY, Tommy Villiers and Sophia Violet. His 2025 single HITZ 4 THE HOOD, on No Instruction, spent several weeks at number one on Beatport's UK garage chart, followed by the Far Away EP on PullUp Recordings. Support has come from DJ Seinfeld, Groove Armada, Young Franco, Interplanetary Criminal and Main Phase, with radio play on BBC Radio 1, triple j, Rinse FM and KISS FM, and his music has been used in campaigns for Nike and Eurovision. In Adelaide he supported Luude at Hindley St Music Hall in June 2026, an all-Australian bass bill with Prizefight and Foura.
