CD aka Cohen Dempster

CD is a drum and bass DJ and producer from Adelaide, working the high-energy, bouncy side of the genre. His sets lean on punchy basslines, upbeat breaks and the kind of low end made for a warehouse rig, not a bedroom speaker, moving between jungle, neurofunk and liquid along the way. After cutting his teeth on local nights, he stepped up to a bigger stage in 2026 with a DJ set at YourShot ADL at The Lion Arts Factory, one of Adelaide's key rooms for underground electronic music. Behind the decks he favours long, blended transitions over quick cuts, guiding a crowd through a set rather than dropping them straight into one. Away from the booth he's in the studio building original productions, with new tracks and edits due on SoundCloud through 2026.
